This notice describes the current public version of The CD Shop, operated by Pacific Marketers, LLC.

Saved picks stay in your browser.

When you save a Staff Pick, this website stores the selected pick identifiers in local browser storage. The site code does not send that saved-pick list to us. It does not follow you between browsers or devices. You can remove individual picks with the Save control, or erase the list by clearing this website’s browser storage.

Search and browsing.

The artist and album search filters the list already loaded in your browser. We have not added advertising trackers, an analytics dashboard, a newsletter form, customer accounts or a payment form to this version.

Hosting and fonts.

Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical request information such as IP address, browser information and access times to serve the website and protect the service. This version loads fonts from Google Fonts; those font requests may send technical connection information to that provider.

When you contact us.

Clicking an email link opens your email application. If you send us a message, we receive the message and the contact details you include and use them to handle the inquiry. Do not send payment credentials or passwords.
