The CD Shop is a music discovery and CD collecting project from Pacific Marketers, LLC, based in San Diego County, California.

For people who still listen to albums.

We enjoy the whole experience: choosing an album, reading the booklet, discovering an unexpected favorite and returning to a record years later. A collection can be personal without being enormous. What matters is finding music you want to keep.

Our Staff Picks pair original listening notes with practical suggestions about where to start. They reflect editorial taste, not a universal ranking. We describe the music in our own words rather than copying seller descriptions or presenting ratings we haven’t earned.

You can read our Staff Picks, search by artist or album, save favorites in your browser and explore our CD collector’s guide. The artwork on our pick cards is original typographic illustration, not a photograph of an album or a copy for sale.

Our own collection is on the way.

We plan to offer our own CDs with individual edition, condition and fulfillment details. Direct ordering is not open. Current editorial selections do not represent verified stock, and we do not take payments or reservations through this website.
